Started in the year 2000, the department provides comprehensive and thorough care for women and specialises in providing postnatal and antenatal care & treatment for expectant mothers, especially women with high blood pressure and diabetes. While also addressing a wide range of women’s health concerns, including reproductive health, menstrual disorders, fertility issues and menopause. The department also offers cancer screenings for early detection and treatment to promote optimal health and well-being. The department has also been training primary and secondary DNB Obstetrics and Gynaecology residents since 2022.
