Started in 2000, the department is committed to delivering comprehensive surgical solutions and support to all patients, with specialisations in various surgical procedures, including general surgical services pertaining to salivary glands, thyroid, breast, gastrointestinal surgeries, proctology, ventral hernias, inguinal and femoral hernias, penile and testicular surgeries, diabetic feet surgeries and more while ensuring personalised pre & post-operative consultation, care and support. The department has also been training primary and secondary DNB General Surgery residents since 2006.
